Carrboro Homicide
The Carrboro Police Department is seeking information related to the homicide of TaeVeon Michael Ja’Quentin Young. The homicide occurred in Carrboro on BPW Club Rd. on 1.31.22 at approximately 11 PM. Investigators are asking anyone with information concerning this crime to please call either the Carrboro Police Department at 919-918-7413 or CrimeStoppers at 919-942-7515. Calls to CrimeStoppers are confidential and anonymous.
Mr. Young’s family is offering a cash reward up to $5000.00 for information that leads to an arrest and conviction of the individual or individuals involved in this homicide.
Update Faith Hedgepeth Homicide
The Chapel Hill Police Department, in coordination with the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI), arrested Miguel Enrique Salguero-Olivares, 28, of Durham, on Thursday, Sept. 16, 2022 in connection with the murder of Faith Danielle Hedgepeth. The homicide investigation will remain an active and ongoing case until the Durham County District Attorney tries the case in court.
